This is Marleias Day " but SILVER as we call her" is a 1989 Reg'd Quarter Horse mare. She is a granddaughter of Dash For Cash! That means all her foals will have Dash For Cash right on their papers, to see her extended pedigree just click on the word PEDIGREE. Silver has had 9 foals, 7 witch have gone on to race! She is a very freindly sweet old mare that did not deserve to go for meat just because shes older. I took one look at this old girl and just loved her. The strange thing is that she was just brought up from the states and had her coggins done Jan 22, 2008. I don't understand why they would drive all the way up here from Washington, pay for the vet checks and coggins then just drop them at a sale these people brought up about 5 mares all in foal to this sale. We brought home 2 of them but this old gal was the best one there she is halter broke and really freindly, where the others were not handled much.

Silver has been bred back to a Palomino stallion "Centenial Chex" for a May of 2009 foal. She was just confirmed in foal by the vet on August 19th 2008. She is a great mother and has lots of milk, she has a really good mind and is seen plane as day in her foals.
We don't want to have broodmare's any more as I just want to keep all the babies! So our loss is someone's gain. If she doesn't sell then we will keep this old girl to baby sit the rescued foals as she is just a super mare.

Update May 19th 2009: While we are still waiting for our new bundle of joy...Silver is as big as a house! Last year when I bought her my girl freind and I didnt even think she was in foal...this yaer is another story......I will post pics as soon as the big day comes.
